There is a controversy surrounding director Om Raut’s long-awaited film Adipurush, and calls for the film to be banned are constant. Amid this protest, voices are also being raised in support of the film director. Now the President of MNS Chitrapat Sena Om Raut has endorsed.

Amey Vinod Kopkar, President of MNS Chitrapat Sena, tweeted support to Om Raut. Amey Kopkar wrote: “Film director Om Raut used to make films like Lokmanya and Tanhaji that show in-depth research related to the story. He also designed the light and sound show for Savarkar Smarak, which is still played today. In such a situation, the criticism of his upcoming film Adipurush is sad. We sincerely hope that Om ji and his team have researched and worked hard enough for this film.”

The film wants to provoke and hurt religious feelings. The film contains dialogue and imagery that promotes hatred of religion and caste.
