The film will see a story set against the backdrop of the Chola Empire. Hrithik Roshan, Criminal and Saif Ali Khan will be starring in “Vikram Vedha” in the role of a police officer. While “Ponnian” is on the one hand a historical drama, “Vikram Vedha” is on the other hand a crime thriller.
The genres of both films may be different, but both will be released on the same day, so there is a risk that both will have a negative impact on the box office. He says that “we’ve done our job and the decision of how the film is played is entirely in the hands of the audience.” At the same time, Hrithik Roshan said: “I haven’t read the book, so Vikram Vedha is more important to me, but I will definitely say that you should watch both films.”
