Rithvik Dhanjani On Hosting The 2022 Melbourne Indian Film Festival Awards, “Such Platforms Really Excite Me.”
The popular face of the TV industry, Rithvik Dhanjani, is set to host the 2022 Melbourne Indian Film Festival Awards. Rithvik says, “I am really looking forward to hosting the awards night this year. After two years of such global platforms coming to a halt, it’s great to see a community of film artists coming together.”
“I’m sure it will be a fun-filled evening, honoring the best of last year’s cinema amongst the presence of those who love this art form,” Rithvik shared.
Rithvik Dhanjani further adds that it is always good to see how Indian movies and web series are appreciated globally.
Rithvik Dhanjani said, “As an artist, these platforms really excite me when I see the progress that Indian content has made and is loved by communities around the world.”
Rithvik had made his acting debut with ‘Bandini’ and went on to do a number of fiction and reality shows.
Rithvik Dhanjani gives an insight into the awards ceremony, sharing: “The awards night will be held in the presence of an accomplished Australian jury and dignitaries and I look forward to delivering an evening filled with fun, excitement and celebrations galore.”
IFFM will take place from August 12-20 in Melbourne.
This year’s festivities will see more than 100 critically acclaimed films in 23 languages. This year’s nominations include movies and content released between August 2021 and April 2022.
