Tata Motors hasn't given a reason for the reorganisation, but dealers say sales may be to blame. In recent months, Tata Altroz sales have fallen YoY.

A test mule of the upcoming Tata Altroz CNG variant was seen in Pune just a few days ago. The mule was seen trailing the standard emission testing kit.

While the manual transmission is standard across the board, the DCT is only available with naturally aspirated engine options.
